Workshop: Where Do I Start? Introduction to Comprehensible Novels
Workshop Description
By now, the secret is out: reading in the target language is the best form of input to provide for students. And while you know that there are comprehensible novels out there, the idea of using one with your students still seems a little daunting. Where do you even start? Right here! This 3-week workshop will not only help get you started thinking about novels, it will help with the organization process AND provide you access to over 170 comprehensible novels for free! So, sign up to read and plan - all while scooping up some professional development credits. Conducted in English.
Workshop Delivery
Online weekly learning modules, collaborative discussion boards, optional virtual sessions and instructor feedback. This workshop is not self-paced.
Students who matriculate into an Instructor-Facilitated workshop should adhere to the dates listed on the website. Final coursework should be submitted within one week after the workshop end date. Workshop extensions beyond one week are subject to a $50 fee.
