Course Description: 

This intensive program is meticulously designed to empower aspiring world language educators with the essential skills and knowledge needed for preparing for the content exams with dedicated sessions for practice exams and strategic test-taking approaches.

Throughout the six weeks, participants will delve into strategies to improve linguistic and cultural competence, communication proficiency, and general exam structure and expectations. The course will cover a spectrum of topics, including grammar intricacies, vocabulary enrichment, and pronunciation finesse to demonstrate appropriate target language proficiency in all three modes of communication. Special emphasis will be placed on cultural content, honing reading comprehension, interpretive skills, and crafting well-organized written responses.

This course is currently designed for teachers taking the French and Spanish content exams. For all other languages, please email for availability.

There is no required textbook for this course. All materials are digital and will be provided in the online course. See exam website for exam-specific suggested texts and resources.
