The Idioma CE Program (Certificate of Eligibility) is a New Jersey State-approved, alternative-route program for teachers seeking the certificate of eligibility licensure.  Through the two year hours-based program, world language educators can earn their teaching credentials and work independently in a classroom.

The program is a non-traditional teacher preparation program (alternate route hours-based) designed for those individuals who have a Bachelor’s Degree but have not completed a formal teacher preparation program at an accredited college or university, but wish to obtain the necessary training to become a New Jersey certified teacher. 

Before you begin the Idioma CE Program you must complete GEN 501: 50 Hour Pre-Professional Course*
