Course Description
A welcoming, supportive environment for adults who are brand new to English. This course focuses entirely on the practical, day-to-day language required at home, at school, and throughout the community. Lessons blend speaking, listening, basic reading, and simple writing with heavy emphasis on repetition, visual aids, and interactive role-play.
Key Topics Covered:
Introducing yourself and your family.
Effectively talking with teachers and school staff.
Reading and understanding school notes, report cards, and announcements.
Scheduling and navigating medical or appointments.
Understanding everyday homework assignments to support your child.
Handling health, safety, and community emergency situations.
Course Outcome
By the end of this course, participants will feel more confident introducing themselves, understanding common school communications, and navigating essential community interactions.
Level: Adult Beginner (No prior English experience required)
